The Magician's Study

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 21, 2026

Introduction

The Magician's Study ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, request an invitation, book an experience, or otherwise interact with us, how we use that information, and the choices available to you. By using our website or providing your information to us, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect information in a few different ways:

Information you give us directly — such as your name, email address, and phone number, when you request an invitation, join our email or SMS list, book an experience, or contact us.

Information collected automatically — including your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and general location, gathered through cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit our website.

Information from advertising platforms — when you interact with our ads on Meta or other platforms, those platforms may share limited information with us about that interaction, such as whether you viewed or engaged with an ad, subject to that platform's own privacy policy.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to invitation requests, process bookings, and communicate with you about your visit
  • Send marketing communications by email, text message, or other channels, where you've agreed to receive them
  • Understand how visitors use our website, so we can improve it
  • Measure and improve the performance of our advertising, including ads run through Meta and Google
  • Maintain the security of our website and prevent fraud

Cookies, Pixels & Advertising Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies, including the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics, to understand site activity and to measure and improve our advertising. These tools may collect information about your visit and, in some cases, may be used by Meta or Google to show you our ads on their platforms based on your prior interaction with our site (commonly known as retargeting).

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can manage the ads you see from us through your ad preferences on Meta and Google's respective platforms. Turning off cookies may affect how our website functions.

Our website does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We do share information in the following limited circumstances:

  • With service providers who help us operate our business — such as email/SMS marketing platforms, booking systems, and analytics or advertising platforms (including Meta and Google) — solely to help us provide and improve our services
  • When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of The Magician's Study, our guests, or others
  • In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

Email & Text Message Communications

If you sign up to receive emails or text messages from us, we'll use your contact information for that purpose and any other purpose disclosed at the time you provide it. You can opt out at any time — click "unsubscribe" in any email, or reply "STOP" to any text message. We'll process opt-out requests promptly.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. If you'd like us to delete your information sooner, see "Your Rights & Choices" below.

Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the information we hold about you, and the right to opt out of certain uses of your information for advertising purposes. To make a request, contact us using the information below, and we'll respond within a reasonable time and within any period required by applicable law.

Nevada residents. Nevada law gives consumers the right to submit a verified request directing a website operator not to sell certain covered personal information. We do not sell covered information as that term is defined under Nevada law. If you wish to submit a request, email us with the subject line "Nevada Opt-Out Request."

California residents. Under California law you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to request that we correct or delete it; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising; and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. Our use of advertising cookies and pixels, including the Meta Pixel, may be considered "sharing" under California law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. To submit a request, email us with the subject line "California Privacy Request."

Other U.S. states. Residents of a number of other states — including Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon, Texas, and Virginia, among others — have comparable rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising. If we decline your request, you may appeal that decision by replying to our response.

Visitors from the EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland. You may have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal information, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it; where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Verifying your request. To protect your privacy, we may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and may ask for information that matches what we already hold.

International Visitors

We are based in Las Vegas, Nevada. If you visit our website or provide information to us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

Children's Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll delete it.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of our website after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
